The Bottom Line
Calvin Kochi13 Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 14 Let all that you do be done in love.1 Corinthians 16:13-14
As Paul is finishing 1 Corinthians his advice to the chruch is still ring out loud. Much like the church of Corin we are facing the same challenges today. That is why being alert and staying strong in your faith is so important. With shifting values and the attack on churches being strong and being men and women of God is so critical. Yet in spite of all that is going our response and action must be done in Love.
Staying closer to Jesus in so important in times like these. It is so easy to be pulled into the world or to cower away from standing and being strong in our faith. Standing strong in times like these one must be on the alert. I am reminded that the devil is like a roaring lion ready to devour who cower in their faith. I must be put my fsaith into action by using the word of God to lead me. Like putting on the amour of God and train to build up my resistance. In the mist of all the pressure that the world is throwing at me I must be able to stand on the truth of Gods word and to exhibit the Love of Jesus. That is why being in the Word is crucial.
Thank you for reminding me how important to armour myself with the Word of God is. it is not enough to know God Word, but to live it out in faith. Help me to build the strength needed Stand and to be alert and ready at all times.
