Victory in Christ
Marsha Kochi1 Timothy 1:15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Paul speaks of being the worst sinner. He knew that the wisdom that he had within him, came from the Lord. He boasts not of himself, but of what God has done in him. Paul's weaknesses, became his strength, as he ministered to people.
Only the Lord can turn those horrible, sinful times of our lives, into good. Ministry takes place as we can relate to others the things that He did for us, and the victory that we claim in Jesus' Name. Many times, I have felt ashamed of the things that I did in the past. As I am counseling, mentoring or praying for someone, the Lord would allow me to remember the things that I did, and then allow me to understand how I felt, right at that time. I needed to hear from Him, but was so lost and couldn't. It was the person that the Lord used to minister to me, that helped me to hear Him.
Thank You Lord, for the people that You've sent to minister to me, in just the way that I could receive. I pray that You will help me to hear You so clearly as I ask for Your wisdom, as I remember all the bondage that You brought me out of, so I can help others. Thank You for Your grace, as I continue to draw to You.
