Matthew 18:
7 “Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!

There are enough obstacles in this world that keeps us from obeying, and remaining faithful to Him. But someone that willfully chooses to hurt or bring someone down, great is that offense.

The writer is not only speaking of drug dealers or rapists, or murderers, he is speaking of people in general. Offenses such as gossiping, or coming against authority as a Believer, can represent Christ in a negative way. This too, can cause someone to stumble and fall away from the Lord. I have to remember to keep my heart right with Him. To realign daily, check my heart, and represent Him well.

Thank You Lord for Your Word that always reminds me to live with a pure heart. Help me to remember this, especially in the midst of difficulties.
