Christ is All!

In the book of Colossians’ 95 total verses - Paul instructs Christians about the person of Jesus. His all sufficiency, superiority.
- He is the image of the invisible God (1:15)
- The fulness of the Godhead deity dwells in Him (2:9)
- In Him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, (1:19)
- My life is hidden in Christ in God! (3:3)
- Christ is our life. (3:4)
I had the awesome and life transforming honor of reading through Colossians 4 times, then attending an in depth study of this book, taught by Clive Cowell. Deep, Rich and Thorough was the Spirit of God through Clive’s teaching and our discussions.
I want to live differently by acknowledging Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God the Father in all things. Yet I fall so short of having conversations with Him throughout the day. I talk about Him, I teach about Him, I minister in His name...! But no wonder preachers, pastors, spiritual leaders are so dry in spirit. WE all - can so easily miss developing an intimate, vibrant relationship with Jesus!
Oh - I do my devotions. I go to church. I work hard. I share Christ with others. I give money to the poor or church. I serve the Lord. IS THIS ENOUGH to have an intimate relationship with Jesus!???
Dear Jesus! You are ALL and I really, really, really want you to be all within me. Not just through me. I’m thankful for Your Spirit’s conviction and work to draw me near in intimacy to Jesus! Thank You! I Love Y’all! The Godhead 3 in 1!
